Series: My Old B&W Film Creations (For Film Friday)
The launching of a wooden boat, after its service, at the sea, in Mykonos, in August 1975.
These boats took the passengers off the ship and left them to the jetty, since at the port was impossible to tie the ship and it stood outside. The luggage in hand, descending from the ship's side ladder on the boat. The ships were only for passengers, no ferry boats. When it was rippling it was somewhat difficult ....

There is a kindness to a good film image that is hard to achieve with digital...

'Opposing diagonals' expresses how the composition works - good in so many ways.

Have to agree with John , and you Dimitris certain shots will always look kinder and Or more subtle in film. Great one from your archives , keep them coming !

A wonderful old shot of local everyday life which has hardly changed at all since then. Apart from the amount of tourist's of course Smile
