Laurel Hill Cemetery #20

By handlerstudio

Tonight a collection of some of the more unusual gravestones that we saw at Laurel Hill...Still open to color v. sense at this point is the answer is "it depends"

Pennsylvania now has 40% of our people with at least 1 shot...10th best in the country.

And I would like to thank my friend Dora for her UA for my last set from here....

I really do not know what to say because markers without being able to read the inscriptions make the headstones impersonal. So it is impossible to say why these types of markers represented the people to whom they gave tribute. I am a have gone to cemeteries in every country I have visited because how a culture deals with its dead, is so revealing about the culture. I visit graveyards at home because of the history that they reveal.

Pennsylvania also has a huge population of those who will NOT vaccinate! The plain people claim they all had the disease and now have HERD immunity. They choose not to mask up or isolate---

I am drawn to the mono shots although there is more detail maybe in the colour ones as they show up the lichen better.

My award for the last version Peter .... great composition and background . The tombstones for those 3 year children are heartbreaking ....
I think a certain heaviness comes over one when walking through a cemetery .... with a renewed appreciation for life and one`s purpose upon reflection afterwards.

best regards walt
