Similar set-up as the last shot:
Taken on a glass surface with a sheet of white Perspex and a small slave flash with a green balloon stretched across to get the green light effect behind behind the sheet of Perspex.

This was worse than doing a water drop shot because it's a fairly small 16" lava lamp, and the temperature at the top of the lamp was not much different from the bottom of the lamp, as most people know the lava cools at the top then sinks to the bottom, warms up again and rises so when the lava went up and you missed it, you had to wait a few minutes before it would drop again.

Not really happy with the final result, because I used a small slave flash, would have been better using a big one, but i'd had enough of the bloody thing and I didn't have any more green balloons left :o)

Looking good - a tad dark at the top but I can live with that. The decreasing size of the bubles makes this rather special though.
