lavender poppy 2

Taken at banstead,surrey.

Found this single poppy in the lavender field, loved the contrast of colours and the fact is was alone.

The sigma 10-20mm I used has proved to be very versatial and I have used it way more than I expected , for this shot I was 10cm away from the poppy but still got the wide angle. Highly reccomended !!

This was field was planted last year for the first time and is a stunning sight as you drive into a dip before you see this field rising majestically on your left.
