Le Pouvoir Des Fleurs (the power of flowers)

By kuipje
"sung by The Kids United 2016"
Back form Middelburg (The Netherlands) again, visiting my father.
Back to my walk, last week, from Reeuwijk to a nearby village Driebruggen.
Along the Reeuwijkse plassen (plassen=lakes) there are a lot of wild flowers (sorry I'm not good at their names).
On this street , about 150 years ago, there was a custom building. Strange in the middle of Holland? Not at that time, because there were many differences between the provinces. Specially taxes. So the was a lot of smuggling going on. For example, bread. People were caught with six loaves of bread. Each bread weight about three kilo's. That would filled your stomageSmileSmile But people are inventive. They went by boat and at night. There were a fights at that time between smugglars and custom. But that is all in the past now, all you can see are water and beautiful flowers.
have a sunny day here it is cloudy and wet (outside, inside the Ladies driving me grazy, I'm willing to offer 20 for anyone who is willing to adopt them, brrrrrr)

A wonderful set of wildflowers Jos and good to get a lesson in French - it would be good
to have titles in two languages from everybody in foreign lands.
We all need refresher courses in any language we've learned or dabbled in.

Lovely wild flowers with powerful colour. Well focused and I like the blurred background.
That village is also nearby a lake called Chapela. Thank you for the link.

Gorgeous wild flowers, looking beautiful .

Very interesting to read this too, sorry about the birds, I know how loud they are Have to put them in the cage with a cover over...Hope they might sleep for a little while Smile (But I doubt it)

No putting them in the Kookpot either.
