Leafy Interlude

By PrunellaCara
I'm usually not very good at keeping houseplants, but a friend bought me a lovely Poinsettia a couple of Christmasses ago and It's still flourishing! No red leaves yet, but I live in hope. I'm careful not to water it too much and gather up any shed leaves. Usually I don't notice them till they all brown and crinkled up, but these leaves had dropped off and were still a fresh yellowy-green, so, not having anything better to do I thought it might be a good time to try my light-box again.

It worked better this time - probably because I had the room fairly dark and adjusted the exposure comp. several times.
I do like using things as design elements sometimes so I laid them out in patterns on a sheet of rainbow paper as I didn't want a stark white background.

Don't know what your weather is like, but it's very windy and rainy here so no outdoor adventures for me - think I'll delay the mountaineering and Fell running for a while .....
Thank you for your kind votes, comments etc I love your sense of humour too! God bless, Eileen

Wonderful artistic series Eileen, all beautiful but v.4 just has it for me. Reminds me almost of the Isle of Man Triskele.
All the best,
