Leah - Crossness No 6

By TornadoTys
many thanks for all the User Awards and vote on my previous Crossness uploads

Another image from my day at Crossness Pumping station organised by TimeLine Events.

I have tried to upload images which are different poses, theme, and feel to them. This image has the background desaturated to give a more noir and illuminate the model a little bit stronger. As she is brunette wearing a black dress, in a dimly illuminated room !

Hope you guys like the editing

Please feel free to leave any tips, advice, comments and critique

What a great image.

When ask for advice remember everyone has different ideas. If it was was me I would sample from the forehead and paint down the arm and change to soft light. This will help stop the eye going to the brightest part, which is the arm. I would also lighten up the face a little.
These are only minor changes to help the eye focus on the face. Hope this helps a little...

Thanks for taking the time to view and comment.
You mentioned a good technique about sampling the forehead and copying the skin tone over the arm, I had not thought of that.
Would you do that in LightRoom or Photoshop ! ?
My solution was to dodge & burn the arm and head and tried not to over cooking the arm !
