Leaving Brownsea Island

By Trev_B
Today I have been lucky enough to work on Brownsea Island in one of the National Trusts 19th century buildings. It's a wonderful Island in Poole Harbour where Baden Powell set up the very first Scout Camp in 1907. The island was used for the BBC Autumn Watch series in 2008 and is home to many Red Squirrels.

It also boasts a castle which is run as a hotel for the employees of the John Lewis Group.

The best bit of leaving the island today is knowing I will be boarding Costello at 07:40 tomorrow morning for another day... come to think of it Wednesday and Thursday also.... happy days!!!

Hi Trev
Three great images, never been here, looks an amazing place with history, must go for V3 for the full view and the beautiful waves in the foreground.

Regards

Trev.
