Leeds Castle

By jujupops
Good Evening All

This evening's upload is of Leeds Castle and all of you who know me, know that I absolutely love this place!!! I have got 3 versions tonight, all taken from as close to the same spot as I could, V1 was taken on 13 March, the weather was very chilly, certainly not sunny, and there was no wind/breeze. V2 and 3 were taken on Sunday, the weather was very sunny and hot, and there was a pretty brisk breeze going on!!! If I had a favourite, it would be V1, I love the reflection and the stonework colouring ( I havn't meddled in that!!) but by the same token I also like the daffodils in the foreground and the curve of the moat in both V2 and 3. Hope you like them and look forward to your comments Grin

Thank you for your votes and comments on my Sleeping Beauty upload, which are always very much appreciated Grin

Hope you are all having a good week and as always, thank you so much for looking.

Love Julie xx

I'm still a bit of a newbie but I'm torn between V1 and V3 for all the reasons above. The reflections in V1 are superb but the colours in V3 are so clear and bright; beautiful images all round.

I'm with you in especially liking V1 and its stunning colours and details. The reflection is superb. Probably V3 comes next with all those lovely Daffs, but an altogether lovely set.

V1, that's a classic view-point Julie and done so well, my favourite - superb reflections and crystal clear! As with the others V3 comes a close second for those lovely daff's, lovely work Smile

All three shots are excellent Julie but I think I will place them in reverse order. The warmer weather and blue skies certainly add to the beauty. V1 has a super reflection but think the little bit of twig, top right could be cloned out. A mere detail because this is a lovely set.

Thank you all for your votes and lovely comments. In my write up, I failed to mention the time that I spent waiting for people to get out of the flipping way of V1 and 2!!! LOL ..... and to Joan (emjaycee) I know what you are saying about the branch, top right, but I am not particularly clued up on "cloning" ....have just acquired elements 9, and have had a play about, but nothing ever seems to work out LOL..... I will get there in the end though GrinGrin

v3 is my fav with the aded colour from the daffs. agree about the branches in 1.photoshop just takes practice, you'll get there and theres lots of tutorials to show you how. start with the basics, levels, curves, straightening, cropping, and cloning then go from there. lesley Smile
