Leeds Castle

By jujupops
Evening All
John & I went to Leeds Castle today & spent a wonderful afternoon in the sunshine. I took this on my iPhone & have an app that I have been playing about with, which allows you to take a panoramic picture & "stitches" it together before your very eyes! Not sure what it will look like on the site, but hope its ok and you like it!
Many thanks for your votes & comments on yesterday's upload Lilac Wine, they are all very much appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to look Smile
Love Julie xx

Hard to believe that such a good panorama can be obtained from a 'phone camera.....exposure seems spot on and the detail is quite reasonable.
Would be interesting to see a comparison with a more conventionally obtained shot.......you'll just need to haul John back there again tomorrowWinkWink.

Hm! Me thinks I will have to get this app a splendid image has resulted

(are you telling what it is called--- the app?)
Crikey, thank you for the votes, didn't think it would do any good at all & put it up as an experiment really! Lillian, I really did take it on my iphone, and uploaded it onto the site with the EPZ app!! Hopefully we will meet you there very soon Grin Sarah the app is called "photosynth" and it is free......takes a bit of getting used to, as you can probably see, all I need now is a photoshop app!!! Ronnie the camera on the iphone is extraordinarily good, but I have to say that all the photos I have taken of the Castle with my Lumix (and I have probably got hundreds!) are so much more detailed and better, but I thought I would give it a go GrinGrin

A shot to please the camera club judges viewed here!! This letter box style shot of Leeds Castle works a real treat and would have no hesitation awarding top marks in this case.

Smashing and a real pleasure to view.
