Leeds Lock & Light

By MrsS
Hi All

Hope you are well, another one from my trip around Leeds with Richard & Les.

I deliberately framed this with the lock, as I liked the triangles and the contrast between the urban and rural (that little green plant) which is "forcing" itself into the urban landscape.

The light and reflections weren't too bad either! Wink

Thanks for looking, hope you are all surviving the thunderstorms Smile

Cheers!
Fran x

LARGE might just be a bit better Wink

Thanks Nick and Carol Smile

Nick, if you could've seen me setting this up, getting all tangled up with the tripod and the lock-gates, you would have had a good laugh - - I know Richard and Les certainly did! Smile

Cheers!

Now Fran I (me) like it (the rail) BUT I put one on similar about a year ago and THEY did not like it.Glad to see they have now gone sensible !!!
Those towers are belting...I would have got me silhouette-cam around them by now.
As others have said the vertical/horizontal and diagonal lines all mix well together.

Lovely reflections & composition...having seen other pics by our Camera Club members, I've been around here with my camera, but my shots just don't seem to capture it as well as these! Nice one, Fran.
