Leith #4: Old Build

By KingBee
For those happy people who live in the apartment block of yesterday's upload, this is the view they wake up to each morning.

Thanks for all the comments yesterday. None of the images in this series is likely to generate much interest in the UA department - it's not intended to - but it sure gets y'all talking!

I feel compelled to give a UA for the series Bob.
Photos are often about provoking dialogue and you certainly have with these images of Leith.
Sadly replicated throughout the UK.

Can't seem to access the series... the back button appears for me, but not the versions. This is a great lead shot though!

Like the connection with your yesterday's upload - not exactly a des res area.

Tony (and anyone else who may have the same issue), if I've understood you correctly, there are no 'versions' in the ePz sense of the word; ie, each upload is a stand-alone image in its own right, no variants, no mods, etc - it simply follows on from the previous day's upload. Just look at my Profile for the last few days and you'll see the others in the series.

The only positive is that it provided a splash of colour for the residents - there wasn't a lot of colour on the facades of the block yesterday...
Both interesting shots of this location and good to compare, this image creates more interest and has a splash of colour and I do like the old railings.

I know it's disgraceful and what the hell but there is such a desperation in this image. In our day somebody would have said stop or not closed the curtains but there is fear and apathy these days. The beautiful stone and iron railings and number 8 above the door. Somebody lived there and loved it Bob.

Lovely light capture.
