The outside of the shopping centre has been adorned with 274 citrus trees. To me it doesnÂ’t make sense, how does one water them or pick the fruit. It did make for an interesting photo.
The centre was built on the ground of an old brick factory. They used a lot of old recycled bricks in the building ...see versions

Bizarre is an understatement Colleen! How very strange and oddly attractive in a worrying kind of way!
Thanks for sharing, I think!

Definitely strange. I hope they take them down before they get too heavy. They seem to be thriving though.
The building is much more attractive from the inside. The exterior is rather uninspiring.

A high rise orchard, whatever next. I'm sure they've solved the watering issue.
I'd take a brolly with you if you have to walk past the place when they're full of lemons though.

We are all supposed to be planting trees to help with Planet Earth.
They look a bit high maintenance though!
Very good quality upload Colleen.

Great series, vertical gardening, they do look a bit difficult to water.

Very strange!! Most unusual, but does beg to be photographed 👍 The bricks in V2 & V3 remind me of outside the Cavern Club in Mathew Street, Liverpool, where there's a statue of John Lennon - all the bricks are engraved with singers or bands from the 1950s & 1960s, there's hundreds of 'em! 😀

Certainly a curious place to grow fruit but makes a zany image.
Reminds me of when I was first married and had a lemon plant on my kitchen
window sill - I used to sing to it and it produced a lemon!
Interesting sentiments on the wall.
