Lest we Forget

By NDODS
Good Morning to you all at ePhotozine. It has been quite a while since I last uploaded. I have now moved back to the family home in Whitburn and I am starting a new chapter in my life. Today's image was captured last year at Worthing's War Memorial. This morning I will be shortly getting ready to attend this years Remembrance Day Service at my local Church. My medals are polished and my shoes are polished so not much to do before the off. I hope that you all have a fantastic day whatever you may be doing.

Regards as always Nathan GrinGrinGrin

An excellent image and tribute Nathan. I type this as I watch the coverage of the Cenotaph commemoration on television and listen to the heart breaking memories of those who have lost loved ones in conflict. Deeply upsetting.

I love the way that you've captured the anonymity of the serving soldier with the cut-off back view.

Mind you, I would expect nothing less from you, Nathan! You understand in a way that I realise I never will.
