Lest We Forget

By jujupops
Good Afternoon EPZ

I hope you are all well. Firstly, thank you for your votes and comments on my last upload, Pollen Keeper and a massive thank you to lovely Lillian for her treasured award Grin

My picture today speaks for itself as we approach Remembrance Sunday. This photo was taken last year at Rochester Cathedral, where they had a stunning amount of knitted poppies from all over the local Medway area Grin We went to the Cathedral today and although there wasn't a wonderful poppy display, we witnessed the Turning of The Page Ceremony, which was truly moving.

Take care everyone, especially if you, or your family/friends are affected by the devastating floods in Northern areas of UK.

Love Julie xx

And for the future... The very best memorial to those who died to preserve our society is to make it better: to create a world where people are happy together instead of hating each other, where the weak are defended by the strong, and where war is seen as a horror to be avoided by meticulous fairness - rather than sought for the sake of control of resources...
