This by now recognisable figure of my old mate, looking somewhat perplexed as he sits down to his breakfast, was taken only a few hours ago, before I had even sat down to mine. The composition tries to emphasise the difficulties that I, and thousands upon thousands of people who have suffered from an acquired brain injury face evert day of our lives. Since suffering from a second brain haemorrhage 16 months ago. I have steadily started to improve. My photography has provided me with a creative outlet for my emotional well being and state of mind. Wherever possible I try to add a little humour into my images, in order to try a forget the past and move on.
