Library of Birmingham

As promised yesterday I have remembered to post an image of the new library. This photo was taken four years ago, when the building was under construction.
The architect was Francine Houben. I believe that there is a viewing area above one of these 'blocks' so that the public can view the city.

Thanks. I seem to be in the minority amongst my friends, they think it is wonderful but all I can imagine is loads of litter getting caught up in those wire circles.
