Life In The Cemetery

By MartinWait
I'm not one for selective colouring but after walking around the local cemetery (a place you might think as gloomy and dead) there is wildlife that thrives.
Got lucky watching this fox that was chasing after the many squirrels. Plenty of birds to see as well (more Jays that I've ever seen in one place.
I chose to recolour the wildlife to symbolize life among the dead sort of thing. Like I said selective colouring doesn't really interest me but with this it made sense to me.
Although I think it looks better as a series of images rather than just the one.

As you say, a very appropriate use of selective colouring. It just works very well for this image to bring the subject to the forefront. Brilliant shot and treatment SmileSmileSmile
