Life in the undergrowth, predator and prey

A Nursery Web Spider waits ready to ambush it's prey. The prey is another Rhopalid bug as seen in the last upload, also shot in the same spot, 20 minutes earlier.. There were lots of these little bugs around. Lucky for the bug I disturbed the spider, so it never became lunch!

That's a fearsome looking spider. Another excellent micro image.
