I think you've done extremely well to control the exposure here, everything is perfectly balanced. The positioning of the foreground log is also spot on!

Vibrant colour and superb texture, for me crop off the light area's to the near base of tree's in b/g. Then you have a stunner Neil. Best seen Large. Ron.

Thanks for all the clicks and comments on this series of shots from Burnham. I have been surprised by how well they have been received (by my standards). I will have to try and time it better next year to see if I can improve on this.
