lifesnapper does mrswoolybill

By lifesnapper
Hi all, and a HUGE thank you to everyone for their interest and support on my 'lifesnapper Does' series, very unexpected and appreciated.
Today being 'Silly Sunday', it just has to be the Queen of silliness Herself, mrswoolybill, well known to us all as Moira.Smile I've uploaded two versions with different dof's, and once again left room for improvement (especially from the Star Herself) so have fun with this one, and thank you all once again for your wonderful support, mods and comments on the series.

All the best to all,

John Smile

A combination of clever use of DOF and monumental silliness, but surely if it is in the style of Mrs W. it should be in black & white?

John, I am honoured! And yes, this is a subject that I wouldn't be able to resist.

Quote:A combination of clever use of DOF and monumental silliness,

I couldn't ask for a better compliment. Smile

Not necessarily, colour has its place. But you have neglected the essential square crop which is screaming out from this...
To be picky, V2 is rather more in my style so that's the one I shall work on. Foreground sharp, background blur, whatever is in it... Mod to follow...

Imitation is said to be the greatest form of flattery and you are doing a great job. However, how could you forget the square crop?Tongue

An image which instantly grabbed ones attention, and one which is not only very well done, but one which would make a great greetings card

I saw this as potentially rather scary, John. The picture, I mean, not Herself. SO I have attempted a scary mod.
Tremendous series, already looking forward to the next.

I have a rather troubling image of you carrying the doll, ice cream and cake around the vintage car show. I imagine you had some sympathetic looks!!I find a plain, brown paper bag comes in very useful.

I like your perception of me trying to an ideal location for a shot LindaSmile But the only thing I need a Brown Paper Bag for these Days, is to put over my Head Wink

Such funny silliness. Very clever but there should be a camera on the seat or tray. She does have a happy smile and that all seeing eye. And…of course the square crop!

Love the props. Is that an old Bush radio?

Back to the image. If I was being dined in an NSU Prinz, Im sure the tone would be different, as I would never go out like this in the daylight. So a car light would be better. And that person on my hat is a complete distraction.

That straw needs to be vertical too. I think you have overdone the eye, - it looks fake, almost doll-like, and way too big.

I also like my cake darker, more earthy.

I will come back later when I think about mods, - oh, actually Ive just uploaded two. Negative space is missing for me, - so lots of it in the mods. You know that negative space doesnt mean you simply leave it out!

Lol...VERY well done, John, and so very interesting mousing back and forth to see how the different DOF affects the look! Amazingly enough, I can't find a preference 'cos they both work well. Just loved seeing the brilliant mods too and reading the comments GrinGrinGrin

BRAVO on this series.
