Lift off !!

By Juliee
When this striking kite finally took off, it was to a backdrop of dramatic grey skies & sunlight which lit it up incredibly.

Hope you like this,

Was it really that dark ?

I am not sure this would have worked against a bright sky as the colour contrast between the kite & sky would not have been so strong.

Like the way it appears to be tip - toeing through the grass.

There is quite a lot of space on the left but somehow is important as it gives the kite plenty of space to float into.

Only that particular bit of sky at that time! The rest, as some of my other pictures & the sunlight in this prove, was patchy blue sky!

The light at that point in the day was fantastic! Where were you? Smile
