Interesting idea! How many light bulbs did it take to get the three images? (There's probably a joke in there somewhere!)

Having them lit would have been even more interesting but also more difficult - and more expensive - assuming these were duds.

Thanks for your comments. These were the best from 6 light bulbs shot with an air pistol. All these shots were done in the dark and a flash triggered to freeze the action, this would make it difficult to have them lit as the camera is set to 'Bulb', open to suggestions how I could do this.
