Light Emerald

By Ade_Osman
Thought I'd sucker you all in this morning with a rather beautiful Light Emerald Campaea margaritata Moth before posting what is a bit of a horror show tomorrow that will have all the EPZ wussies diving for cover behind their settees Tongue Don't say you haven't been warned!!! Wink

Very busy in the garden last night with several different hedgehogs visiting and I'm fairly sure two different foxes! Going to enable chat on the webcam tonight, so if anyone wants to say hello or discuss what might be going on and you can get it working on your machines the place to go as usual is: Ade's Hedgehog Garden Cam and my website where you might be able to see a sneak preview of a similar shot to tomorrow's horror upload is Sue & Ade's Wildlife Photography
Hope everyone has a great weekend......

Ade

A beautiful delicate little creature - reminds me of a lacy fan the Vic/Ed ladies might have used.

What a gorgeous little moth Ade, you certainly get a diverse range of species visiting your garden. I'm dreading tomorrows upload now.... with it being a Silly Sunday I have visions of you dressing up as a laydee! The sight of you clad in a wig and full make up and donning short skirt, suspenders, crop top and knee length boots is too horrific to think about!!! Still at least Mikbee will be pleased, it will be just like a regular night for him down at the Dockers Club in Leith when Big Aggie is serving him at the bar......but this time it will be Big Ozzie serving up Black Rat cider no doubt!WinkGrinTongue

Good muted colour Ade.
And at my age,I am not easily shocked anymore.
Ed is right.
I have seen it ALL down at the Dockers Club !!
(Especially moths when they fly out of some guys wallets when they have to buy a round !!)

Thank you for the UA Ann, well chat will be enabled, whether I there to waffle or not who knows?......I'll probably be chasing around after the blooming foxes, we think we now have two separate individuals coming in now. Up to now though they've been very good and left the hoggies alone, more interested in the next door neighbours chickens I think, that and the free food going begging in my garden Tongue

A gorgeous capture, I love the little red dots on the tips of its wings! The dark background really sets off the pale coloured moth beautifully!

Great image, Ade, not many of these about, most have been eaten by its predators, its his awful camo that gives him away i thinkSadSadWinkWink.
A cracker, well done.
