Light My Fire

By Ridgeway
One from the holidays,In Kylemore Abbey in the gardens was the head gardeners house which was interesting in itself. This was stacked just opposite the door.I would have thought this might have had the cover of the wall but this sits as you see it with no protection from the weather. It can be hard to light bone dry some times.Very distinctive smell.
Mind you that was then.
You might have bought a plot years back in Co,Meath or Wicklow that I know of to cut your own.Seasonal and back breaking.
If you drive across Sallys Gap from Dublin to Laragh in Wicklow you can see the stacks of turf drying.Tou can also see the scaring in the ground as well.It was a primary source of fuel in Ireland.
I'll be catching up tonight, see you then.

THANKS AS EVER FOR YOUR TIME AND INTEREST IN WHAT I HAVE SEEN.
