Light on the Bill

By keithh
As I've got a shed load of work to do for Focus.....yes, I know Tricia....this could well be my final image until then.

Probably my favourite of the year so far and one I've been after for ten months.
The glow in the windows is from the rising sun and not electric light...and sadly, at this size you probably can't see the Oystercatchers - thank god they stood still for long enough.

Quality light and colours.
Shame the horizon is out Keith, but after cleaning your filters 20 times before getting a good shot who cares too much.

This is outstanding. I keep telling myself that one day I'll get something like this. Bit depressed now. Wink
I guess some of it's in the post-processing, but this looks 3-dimensional.

How many shots did it take to get the water flowing back over the rocks and the spray on the cliffs at the same time?

Maybe the "geese" in the other shot weren't dust on the sensor. Maybe they were dirt on your filters. Having to keep cleaning sooooo much at the Bill may have polished the geese off. Smile

Very good lighting and comp. It's Mike......his legs are a different length so when he stands to view the image everything slopes to one side.
