Lighting workshop

By Ahem
From the archives because...Covid. This image was created a long time ago, it feels as if it belongs in a different era. I participated in an intro to strobe lighting workshop at the Center for Photography in Woodstock. I'm sorry but I'd forgotten the name of the young woman who was one of the models that day. I do remember that she worked as a butcher.

She looks entirely not the sort of person you'd expect to be a butcher. Ethereal, and lovely.

It just goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover, or a profession by its reputation!
