Evening everyone. This year at Christmas my gift to my elderly parents was to take them to our home town of Glasgow to see the Christmas lights. However the snow put paid to that. Rebooked and we went down yesterday and came back tonight. My Dad has been an enthusiastic photographer for as long as I can remember.
Went down to the River Clyde to have a walk at night. We noticed the mist slowly coming up the river under the bridge. Have not tried night shots before. Of course I did not have a tripod with me. Using my handbag as a beanbag on the barrier at the river, this shot is hand held for 6 seconds. Nowhere near as good as many I have seen, but I think it has turned out not too bad. Have captured reflections as well, which I wanted. Have adjusted levels, straightened and cropped in pse6.
V2 Just thought I would show you my Dad, who by the way, got much better shots than me even though he only took his little Nikon compact. He is 77, reckons he needs a walking stick, but has no problems sticking it under his arm to take shots.
Thanks for C&Cs on previous upload.
