Lilac Again

By cattyal
Another early upload today as I've a ridiculous amount of stuff that I need to get done this evening and must try not to stop to 'play' for too long! I figure if I upload to EPZ early then there's less temptation to mess about with the camera though I'll be back to my normal evening uploads in a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile the Lillac again - softbox lit with a sheet of white foamboard to the right to bounce a bit of light back.

Once again Lucisart Whyeth has been used - I doubt I will ever tire of it!

Thanks folks Smile

Funnily enough although the leaves look wilty they feel fine. That said, it's not going to last long and none of the buds are likely to open. Another few days before picking and they'd have been better but alas that wasn't possible.

Hi Alison,.....Downloaded a trial version of Topaz Adjust......but the sodding thing refuses to install in PSE 8, under 'Filters', & I've tried many different ways, so I've given-up with it, so I'll just have to
be satisfied with looking at your lovely images...............appreciate your help though!!!!!!

Thanks again everyone - sadly these bits of lilac will be going in the brown bin tonight Sad

Keith - that's odd - the support page on Topaz Adjust says that's ok with PSE 6-9 so should be fine. Have you investigated their support pages? If you email them then I've always found them very helpful. I first downloaded the trial software just before I went on holiday and didn't manage to try it out properly. They very kindly extended it for another 30 days.

I use it in Paint Shop Pro which they don't even list Smile

Hi Alison, thank you for the vote for my Bari Gotik shot. I only stayed there four days like you and I loved the place so much again like you, and I wish the same. It has such a great potential and to me much more beautiful than Paris.

Now for this photo and the others that are shot similarly, they are all crisp and clear and I love them as they resemble those old plant drawings. Congratulations!
Kind regards,

Thank you Nezih Smile I think there is little doubt that I'll get back to Barcelona next year (hopefully). I have never been to Paris so that is on my list of places to visit - I've the whole of Europe to see one day - maybe!

I'm pleased you approve of my flower images - I haven't done many lately but now that the garden is producing more flowers I should do more!
