Lily

Today's image is of a lily from a supermarket bunch of flowers, which I have been enjoying for the past week. I decided to photograph the lily just as it is starting to fade. Photographed indoors in natural light, textures added in Photoshop and I have desaturated the image to reflect the fading nature of the flower.

This is just so lovely, I like the desaturated look which, imho, adds to the image. The background is gorgeous and fully compliments the look.....another award!!

I like the salmon pink background that perfectly complements the lily, and also the good focus throughout.
