LINH PHUOC PAGODA

By JN_CHATELAIN_PHOTOGRAPHY
Linh Phuoc Pagoda or the Dragon Pagoda, in the outskirts of Da Lat, is of one of Vietnam's fantasyland glass and ceramic mosaic structures. It is a great example of how modern Vietnamese art has interacted with religion.

Visiting the pagoda is a brilliant experience as you can see some extraordinary colourful dragons, giant flowers, fruit as well as great views on the rest of the buildings, the countryside and the gardens.

In one of the garden to the right, there is a 10meters (at least) dragon climbing in and out of a small lake. It is a wonderful and fascinating place with beautiful flowers and the sound of running water. Perfect for meditation.

Thanks for the comments on the “Crazy House”. Here is another unusual building which will catch your interest and imagination, I hope as well as give you another idea about modern Vietnam.

Have an enjoyable day,

Jean-Noël

What a riot of colour. Number three for me too as it gives you a sense where the pagoda is set in the countryside. Is it lit up at night? I noticed a painted light bulb in one of them.
Malcolm
It might be lit up at night or on special occasions. I only saw it during the day. JNC
