Linton Falls Hydro weir - Wharefedale

Delighted with the response to my Hare sculptures, thank you all so much for your votes and comments and a special thank you to Trev (TrevBatWCC), David (HobbitDave), David (davidgibson), David (craggwildlifephotography), Fred (Badgerfred) and Isabel (Chinga) for your UA's.

Some more images captured on our circular walk from Threshfield, these are of the falls and weir at Linton. Always a popular place for picnics on the river bank in the warmer weather.

Information:-
Linton Falls Hydro is a hydroelectric generating power station located on the Linton Falls Weir of the River Wharfe, near Grassington, North Yorkshire, England. The power station is located on the same site as a hydroelectric scheme that was first opened in 1909, but had closed by 1948. The new scheme, which opened in March 2012, uses the original building which is now a scheduled monument.
