Great shot . . . . but does the white balance need a tweak or two?

Light balance is a difficult matter under water. The red end of the spectrum is filtered out at even shallow depths. If you look at my earlier photo of a lionfish it is very red. This is because the photo was taken at quite a depth and the fish was illuminated by a flash. This photo was taken at shallower depth and there was more light, hence the flash did not fire and as a result the illumination was deficient in red. The picture is as it was seen by the human eye.
