You have to wonder if someone killed in conflict wouldn't have, one day, found a cure for all the evils of the world.

Hitler himself was wounded in WW1, if that bullet or shell fragment had been just a little nearer the mark....

Just having a play to pass the time, no barbed wire was hurt in its production although the Postman knocking on my window did look a tad startled as I stood juggling the grenade pondering its placement!Grin ( It's rubber as used in re enactmentsWink)

Reminds me of the episode in 'Dad's Army' in which, if I remember correctly, the platoon was yet to be equipped with guns and so resorted to using broom handles and shouting, "Bang!"
A nicely set up shot - no doubt all part of a 'cunning plan.'
