Liquid Gold II

By MrsS
Amazed at the response to yesterday's shot, and based on the prinicpal that when you find something that works, exploit it (!) here's another one I prepared earlier Wink

TBH, I wasn't sure which to post yesterday, as I like them both for different reasons.

Anyway, this was taken a little later (hence the blue in the sky) and a little further back - - a position achieved really quickly, in order to save another pair of socks! Grin

Hope you like this one too, Thanks for calling in, have a wonderful evening, remember Thursday is the new Weekend! Wink

Didn't see the previous one but this is a fabulous seascape/cloudscape. Maybe I would have lost a tad off the top, but that's all.

I am going to be really harsh on this image, but believe me it is only because I really like it, but you have a similar issue to one that I battle with constantly and that is the thin HDR halo over the rocks to the left of the shot, it is very subtle as an issue, but in my PF it winds me up constantly and whilst doing two tonemap versions and merging them over the affected area helps, I still haven't really got to grips with it!
I do like the image a lot though, a striking composition and beautiful warm colours.

Thanks for your input, Jon, always appreciated, but this isn't hdr or tonemapped, so I'm not sure what might have caused the halo, so it might be a tad difficukt to put right Sad

Glad you like the comp and colours Smile
