Thankyou Dave,Ali,Julie and Roy Smile

I just wanted to show that wether you use internet stock or your own photographs for manips like this, it still takes an awfull lot of effort and skill to put the elements together and make them look right. I have come across lots of arguments about useing stock figures etc,and I can see both sides. However, what you do with the pictures you use are important to wether you make somthing 'yours' or not.
Bringing these photographs together was pretty tricky, when you take into account that you haveto change each elements clour, saturation, levels etc to blend in with the background. The composition is the easy bit! It takes far longer than most people imagine....a lot longer than most photographs take to set up (even when waiting for the right light). Anyway, just wanted to show the amount of work that goes into somthing like this image for those who think manipulating photos are the easy way out or cheating ;-P

EDIT: Roy...have just seen your MOD, It's lovely Smile I think I like it more than mine! What did you do?

I think it is right up there with your last one. Totally different though. If the competitive move scene does not suit you, maybe you could do artwork. You know, like move posters and the like. They send you some images and you turn them into a single work of art that sums up the movie.

Your comment about San Francisco and wearing flowers reminded me of that song about San Francisco in the '60's. Maybe this is your impression? Nice, but it is much different now though the politics are still as idealistic. Now it is all Google, Yahoo, Intel, Adobe and even YouTube is based here. There are still hippies here but they drive BMW's now....LOL..

"If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair. If you're going to San Francisco, summertime will be a love-in there". Or something like that.

Thanks for the link Patrick! Smile))) I really enjoyed watching and listening to this, lol, and yes,it is exactly the impression I have....same as most American's think of London as some Victorian,Gothic,Mary Poppins romance Wink
I have such a strong conection to the 60's that it feels like I was really there....my theory is that I died from too many drugs and partying but loved life so much that I demanded an immediate reicarnation in 1971! Grin :-p
