Little Egret

Taken at Lopwell Dam Nature Reserve, the water in the background is a man-made weir on the River Tavy at it's highest most tidal point. The reserve has both freshwater and saltwater areas. My first visit and an encounter with this Little Egret was great and he obliged by flying towards me and landing on the bank!!
