Little Langdale

By geffers7
Arrived at the top of the valley on the Wrynose pass just before daybreak and then had to wait 4 hours for the RAC to pull my car out of the ditch I'd driven into!
Still plenty of time for photos even though it was pretty cold. Oh and the car didn't have a scratch on it.

Beautiful image of an amazing place, a difficult drive at the best of times.

Nice work, like the framing and colors. In the mod all have done is levels and sharpening, to boost it a little.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Wolfy - I've been sharpening before resizing - may be thats why your mods look better!

I like this too but think it works even better in the landscape format.

When re-sizing, if you are reducing the size sharpen before sizing and if anything over sharpen slightly. If you are increasing the size, sharpen after enlarging and be very careful about the amount of sharpening you add.

I think you could sharpen your images on here a little more but don't overdo it. Overall contrast looks fine to my eyes and looks quite natural which is how I like my images

Sounds like you need a 4x4 Wink

Thanks for the advice Den - and you are right about the 4x4!
