Little Star

By AdrianTurner
Still experimenting with lenses and extension tubes.

This tiny flower measures approximately 7mm across. Ive got no idea what it is, a single stem branches out to carry 30 to 40 of these flowers.

75-300mm lens plus 21mm extension tube.

1/250 @ f/16 + flash

All comments very welcome

You have captured the flower very well, just enough DoF to keep the whole flower in focus but with a nicely blured background. I dont like the black stripe down the left side though.

Very nicely captured, good dof, maybe cropped a tad tight at top.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Chris, it is tight at the top but that is to prevent the flower above creeping into shot and becoming a distraction.

Terrific capture and detail - I think it might be London Pride.
