This lizard was scouting the area, no doubt trying to locate some prey to eat! I love the texture and colours on their skin and how this contrasts with the rocks. Hope you like it too!

As usual, votes, comments, critique and mods welcome!!

It's a very nice shot. Focus on the lizard is excellent. He does look so sleepy... Grin

A rather impressive shot of this incoming shadowily figure Alistair. It is important to note that you have allowed enough space for which the Lizard can go into. All too often I find that people do not allow enough space for such eventualities and will constantly place their captures into little tiny constricting boxes...

I realise you want the comparison with the rock texture but maybe just a bit too much of the rock for me. I've put a crop on as a mod and lightened the skin a bit. Hope you don't mind.

Sniffing the air, there's a big world up there. I see Dave's point though, I think I'd crop down to the top of that middle ground area of rock, the paler rising diagonal.

Agreed with the crop - the point was to leave space as Nathan said but I think I did in fact overdo it. I like the mod and suggestions, thanks! Smile

Nice shot! Beautiful colour and clarity... I don't know much about wild life photography.. only one thing, I want to look at its eye. Is it too dark or not?
BTW, thank you for your comment and MOD for the ducks.

Welcome xwang, glad you appreciate the mod. The eyes look very dark and I guess trying to get some detail there would have probably blown out the rest. Glad you like the colours though, it's the beauty of the colour and skin that prompted me to take the picture. I just love that texture!
