Took this at the end of a road trip on the 2nd May 2010.
My first true attempt at a sunset image, manipulated slightly in Lightroom.
What I noticed obviously not being a landscape photographer was that the closer I went to a spill of light in the floor the duller it became. I know I should know more from playing with other light sources but at that moment stupidly left all my other knowledge back in the car lol.
So what do Landscape photographers usually do in this situation? Cropping as I have done in this image or use a long range zoom lens?
Probs talking nonsense but would love to learn more of this area I have only just begun to explore.
