Excellent and well done, the big version is magic.
If I have to find fault then the only thing would be the angle at which the photo was taken, I think a walk to the right slightly to bring in the side of the boats would finish it lovely.

That's really interesting, I like the effect you have achieved. Sorry to show my ignorance but what exactly is an IR filter.
I agree with above about a slightly different angle on the boat.
