LNER Pacific Power A4 Class at Grosmont

Friday 4 April 2008 a day in railway preservation to remember when the NYMR held a LNER event.Together on shed for the first time in many years all in steam three of the surviving Gresley A4 Class steam locomotives make a wonderful sight.From left to right we have 60009 'Union of South Africa' , 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' and 60019 'Bittern'.

Brings back memories of Aberdeen, Ferryhill in the mid 60s when these three were on the 3hr Glasgow run. Great shot!!
