Local Area

By bromley-smith
Evening folks, hope you had a great photographic weekend. Saturday was a wash out, so today I set myself a two hour limit and went local. I didn't travel much more than a four or five miles radius from the house and went to see what I could find. This is it.

V1, an industrial shot. Loved the light
V2, a horse. Obviously.
V3, the boat museum.
V4, a very agitated swan.
V5, a go-cart circuit. I had no idea it existed.
V6, the end. Not literally, just the last shot.

Explore your local area, there's more there than you think.

Many thanks for your votes and lovely comments on Bellows. Greatly appreciated.

An interesting set. I was drawn to V1 as I work in the oil and gas industry. That wouldnt be the Fife-Ethylene plant would it?

Many thanks Madu, John and Paul.
Paul, I live near Chester and this was taken by the River Mersey near Ellesmere Port.

A very interesting and varied set of images. V1 is so finely detailed with lovely tones and light. My favourite is the beautiful, intricately patterned Celtic cross of V6, which you've caught in such wonderful light.

A very different set of subject matter today, Tony. So difficult to decide on a favourite as they are all so unique, but I do tend to favour the very excellent capture of the industrial complex in V 1.

Grand work and a reminder at the end as to what happens !!

On reflection could it be the first shot that hastened it.
