Loch Assynt Pines

By wanny
I've spent this week on the Stoer peninsular in the Assynt region of North West Scotland. The weather has ranged from atrocious to periods of fine & sunny.
Yesterday morning came with a narrow window of calm so I drove down to Loch Assynt to get this shot of the beautiful Scots Pine trees.

Canny....except for the pink buoy, which really draws the eye. I'm sure you thought about taking it out??

Those buoys really do distract from a lovely landscape, but the fisherman in me tells me why they are there - wonderful place, rain or shine GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
