It's a little frustrating Dougie. All those early mornings, long drives and we still come back empty handed. This is a nice shot and I can see the autumn colours are at their peak.

My childhood area, grew up in Pitlochry Smile

I have to say for me its the wonderful sky reflected in the calm water that does it for me here.

Mind the water looks a little low in Faskally as well Smile

Even if the light isn't all you'd hoped it is still a cracking scene with some fabulous autumn colours. I might be up here next week on my way to Forfar.

Sometimes I think the Autumn colours can look enhanced without direct light, as in this shot Dougie.

I was here as well on Thursday before heading up to Killiecrankie - (you must have been the guy on the other side of the bridge then!) Tranquil image.

Lovely colours Dougie. When I was here last autumn I got about 5mins great light then it was gone. Never came back the rest of the day.

Fabulous colours featured in this little part of the Loch, and the sky sets it off, nothing like this here today, just drizzle, endless amounts of it and yes i got soaked Smile

The colors just jump right out this one. The sky might have had more impact with some ND grad though bro. Even some digital Work to improve the blues might take this from good to the sublime.

When it makes you stop to look it's proof that it's a good image. I stopped, I looked Smile

Paul said it here for me, Dougie - can't understand why it should be frustrating to get such a beautiful image?! And yes, cold Kelpies or not - I wish I was there.
