Loch Glow Reflections

By Irishkate
Many thanks for V&C for Living the Dream featuring the lovely little Figaro Car.
Had a dreadful week with technology last week - was hacked on Facebook and now have an unwanted antivirus program
I've tried several times to uninstall but to no avail - anybody know how I can remove it, please?

Today's image was taken at Loch Glow - a fishing loch on our recent trip to Fife.

P.S. See version re advice from everybody - thank you.

I like this but would like to see a square crop with the left hand side removed.
As for the antivirus programme. If you know how to get into the control panel on your computer, there is a facility to uninstall programmes. Just highlight it if you can find it and click 'uninstall'. I hope this helps but there are probably others on here who will come up with a better solution. Good luck!

I like this, especially the sky reflections of blue and white as well as having a nice abstract feel. I agree with Ian, a square crop would perhaps work better. Overall, a really lovely image.

Nice minimal image Kate, and I agree that a square crop (losing the left side would create a more balanced composition with the diagonal of the grasses. Also clone out the superfluous fir tree branches lower right.
Good luck with the uninstall.

Nice one Kate - sorry to hear about your pc and virus ....had a friend a couple of weeks ago with a similar experience .....it too / removed all her family tree history .....fortunately she was able to contact me and get a copy ......certainly a frightening experiences

Hoe things work out

i am not sure about cropping away the left side, but the fir tree fragment must definitely be removed...
as regards the antivirus program, the normal way to uninstall it has been suggested by Ian, where you have to do it via the Control Panel (in your Windows environment)... if you have already been over that route and it doesn't uninstall, than it is probably some kind of malware requiring a third party software...

I like this Kate, very simplistic but good composition and tones. Perhaps a slight prune from the left.
Virus: I assume you have the name of the virus, if you know you have one.
My main way of getting rid of it is to enter its name in your Internet Browser and add after the name "How to remove". This usually shows you the method.
The chances are it will not be shown in "control panel/programs and features"
If it is shown - right click and accept "uninstall"
If it does not work, let me know its name I will see if I can find how to remove

A lovely capture, Kate - I think I prefer the square crop.
Sorry to hear about your PC problems and hope some of the above suggestions get you sorted out.

Well seen reflections, and grasses reaching out of the water 👍 Like both, but think the version just wins it for me, especially with those green branches creeping in from the right removed 😃
Hope you get your PC sorted - the suggestions by Leo and Ian sound good. I'd certainly go onto the net and search its name and how to remove it if all else fails. I have used Norton Internet Security for many years, and that's good at stopping unwanted stuff, but I also have Malwarebytes installed and running too, that will also stop threats and does block anything that's the least bit dodgy! Worth paying for both for peace of mind 👍

Excellent photo, but I'm afraid I've run out of awards.

You could try asking in the forums, there's a category devoted to computers.
