Lockdown detail

By hobbo
I am slowly learning how to get the best results from my recently acquired LUMIX GX9 camera, and the best of my vintage lens collection.

The ...D -MONOCHROME-L setting in the GX9 lives up to expectations, in that it claims to emulate what a dedicated monochrome Leica might do....
Except for not having the Leica’s full-frame capacity for producing huge prints, I think my current set up is extremely close, for a fraction of the cost too.

I include other studies from yesterday and today, using two different vintage lenses, set to ...Zone-Focus....just short of the Infinity mark....this offers sharpness for almost full depth from circa 10 feet.

Members using large screens, might give me feedback on the detail in that shop window and outdoor pavement display please.

Excellent set of b&w images, looks like the GX9 is doing the job but you still have to point it at the right subjects 😊👍 Both the shop and outdoor display are spot on 👍
