This looks really rather attractive, though I doubt it would have appealed to local malefactors in the 1480s!

I'm intrigued by what look like grab-handles either side of the doorway, and by what's going on inside among the shadows.

That is some size of woodworm in the door! Your image shows its age, and also people were smaller back in the 1400's!!

That is amazing....the only buildings we have that old or older are Indian Pueblos in the SW.
