London Eye @ f2.8

By Imageryonly
Slightly reworked image , but this is the image that taught me to research the Depth of Field of my lenses.
I had had a disappointing evening, on all my images the lights came out as a string, instead of individual. I tried playing with shutter speeds, but to no avail, and as a last resort, and a certain amount of pique!, I turned the lens wide open to f2.8 and focused on the warning sign in the foreground.
The front to back sharpness surprised me, and I got the lights right.
I was only 64 when I discovered this TongueTongueTongue
